Rev. Rick Dorsey has been elected as Interim Pastor at Beacon Hill, succeeding the late Pastor Garey L. Haskell, effective July 1, 2010. 
 
Pastor Dorsey has served as Beacon Hill's Assistant Pastor for the past 23 1/2 years, as well as serving on the worship team as a musician, and as the Minister of Religious Education. He has been a member of Beacon Hill since 1977. The new pastor's theme for the rest of the year is "We are moving forward, in Prayer, in Worship and in Ministry". According to the pastor, "Our church has been left with a solid foundation that I pray the Lord will use me to be a wise master builder under His Divine direction".
 
Rev. Rick is married to Beacon Hill Associate Minister Rev. Cheryl Dorsey, and has two teen sons, Joseph and Russell.
